As a forth-generation attorney, Andy understands what it means to be an effective advocate for each of his clients.
Andy earned his Bachelor of Science from Northwestern College (St. Paul, MN) and Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law. As an undergraduate, Andy completed majors in Social Science and Bible while being an active leader in his college community. Most notably, Andy was voted captain of his cross country team as a junior and senior, and was selected as his class’s commencement speaker.
During law school, Andy served as a volunteer student attorney for Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services and as a law clerk for a respected Eden Prairie Estate Planning law firm. In addition to his training and experience in the areas of estate planning, taxation, elder law, and probate, Andy spent a summer in Ireland studying international human rights law.
Upon admission to the Minnesota bar, he practiced as an estate planning attorney for the same Eden Prairie Firm. In February of 2009, Andy opened the Lehner Law office near his home in St. Paul. He currently resides with his wife and daughter on the Westside of St. Paul where they strive to be positive, active members of their community there and in the greater twin cities.
