I’ve been “staging” long before the term came along. It started with creating spaciousness and purpose for my tiny childhood bedroom, continued with my college dorm rooms and became a major passion over the following years.
I’ve purchased and rehabbed several homes, focusing on properties that needed repair and updating. I saw the potential these houses had and with the proper use of paint, stain, carpet and tile, I was able to bring out their true value.
Like most entrepreneurs, I spent many years in the corporate world. While I enjoyed the challenges of management and business, I needed an outlet for my creative abilities. Using my experience and talents to help others bring out the most in their homes was a natural progression, so I decided to make the transition from “amateur” to professional stager.
Beyond the real world experience of successfully buying, refurbishing and selling homes, I’ve been trained in marketing, fashion design, credit and sales management. I’m also a licensed Real Estate appraiser.
